I'll overwhelm 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.

Former two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

Despite those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

However, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul met for the customary face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually happening.
